anyone not named Harden and Capela should be traded away for picks.

Damn wish we had gotten in on this. Smith would have been our best backup big on the roster

Easiest way to get under the tax - Move Knight.

Trading any first rounders would be terrible terrible idea unless it nets back a legit all-star. We're basically a lottery team right now.

Acquiring Sam Dekker....when they have Oubre and Porter? Guess they can swing another deal. Not that Porter and Dekker can’t play small-ball 4. Still....

They are moving Oubre or Otto to improve the roster. They are not tanking.

if we are trying to clear cap space, we should dump CP3.

Tilman wants both playoffs and cost savings. Unloading Knight makes sense for the future.

If Morey gives up any picks and trades Knight for a guy like JR Smith, he needs to be fired. Right now the Rockets don’t have a back up point guard for an aging 34-year-old injury prone player. Why the hell would you get rid of one of the few guys (Knight) that can play PG and score, and not bring someone back in return?

At this point you might as well give Knight a shot to see what you can do. If you’re going to trade then bring in a damn PF to back up Tucker or maybe trade for a wing player. If you trade EG then you need another quality shooter.

Oh, no one will move the needle somwhyvtraee away the future by giving up picks.

Yes and supposedly more manageable or 'more easily tradeable' at least that is what Morey thinks.

Couple weeks back I would but at this point it's either back in contention with a big trade or lottery. I dont want to just barely get in at 8th seed with these contracts

Well at this point I don't think it's Morey's call. If Tilman wants to save money due to a lost season then Morey has no choice.

It will be the signing that likely dooms the Harden/Paul era.

Anderson to the Suns trade was bad, a big mistake but this might be even worse. Tilman is not happy and Morey is desperate.

What an awful paragraph this is. So many commas it's jarring to try to read it. Just awful.

lol so these hacks will continue merely trying to find ways to save money rather than acquire talent. I feel like that's the way the offseason to this point has gone. Every deal has been made to save money and fill roster space. Yikes...

An early second is more valuable than a late first due to the restrictions teams have on negotiations on first round picks. If we stay mediocre our second round pick would definitely hold value

Still trying to cleanup the mess of a contract that was Ryan Anderson.

That contract has absolutely killed us and is continuing to kill us.
