The entire 1980's Warriors team played for the Rockets:

Sleepy Floyd, Purvis Short, Terry Teagler, JB Carroll, Mr Mean, Lester Connor

Now we know why we hate the Warriors so much. This goes back to the 80's when the Warriors sucked and unloaded their garbage like Floyd, Short, Just Barry Care, Lester the Molester Connor etc.

I think they traded the entire 1980's team to the Rockets for Jim Peterson and Ralph Sampson

Everyone hating on the idea of JR smith but if you could swap knight for JR straight up that's a win.

Knight is injured and not playing and you are getting someone who can play back.

Both have very Similar contracts in length and dollars EXCEPT JR is only guaranteed for 3m next year.

So, while yeah knucklehead and that's bad and hes typically just wtf. He does have playoff and championship experience. He does provide flexibility and would provide added depth
