The irony is that it’s we are supposed to be a high efficiency blueprint by favoring the 3. But if we ain’t hitting them at a respectable percentage, how good is this blueprint after all?

CP3's sprained whatever obviously flared up tonight.

Even so, how does a team fall apart so easily?

We might be fooling ourselves. I love Cp3 but he can't stay healthy. Might have to cut our losses? Or is this team gassed and our of shape?

 

This was a game about adjustments. Adjustments: Thibs 1 - MDA 0

 

Rockets don't have any killer instinct. They get a nice lead and they start thinking they can take it easy, let the other team gain confidence, let them hit some open shots to get going, then they choke the game away.

 

That's the definition of a team fighting for the 8th seed.

Gordon 4/13, Paul 1/8, Tucker 1/7.... and there lays one of our problems. The motivation has gone and they've become lazy is another big problem.

Gordon just has too many shooting nights like this this season.... and will continue have them, in my opinion.

Now where do I start with Paul. The guy is badly declining for me. Yeah, he played well last season, but he also didn't play many games last season.... or many before the season before that. We have literally wasted 40m a year on him. I want him to prove me wrong, but I'm pretty certain he'll get injured again and miss another 10 or so games this season.

I don’t think it’s the lack of a killer instinct as a lack of consistency period. We have spurts of offensive. But it’s nothing consistent. Defensively - there is Nothing consistent at all. Don’t even get me started with our second unit.

 

He has made 0 difference, if any difference it has been negative

 

Also, is it just me or do these types of games happen to the Rockets more than any other team? ugh

There was that Thunder game a few seasons back where the Rockets got like 70+ points in the first half and less than 30 on the second half.

Last season it happened too, and I forget which team it was against because I scrubbed it from my brain. I absolutely hate watching games like this. It sucks the wind from my balls. or whatever that expression was.
