Possibly Jimmer Fredette could be a cheap addition to the Houston Rockets who could score plenty for us? What do you think?
The last thing I noticed about Jimmer Fredette was that he was playing for the Sharks in China. The Sharks came ove ran dplayed the Rockets in the preseason, I do remember that Fredette out shot our James Harden on that game. How is it that No NBA Team wants to give hima chance? Y
Jimmer strikes me as the typical AAAA ballplayer... too good for the minor leagues, not good enough for the major leagues. If he was a role player of some sorts that provided defense it might be different, but he needs the ball in his hands to be effective. He's a volume guy.
Looking at the G league two persons come to mind. Of course the GM is going to be looking at current NBA players on other teams first. Assuming Morey makes some moves on Dec 15th and creates space on the roster. Willie Reed might be a cheap big that can rebound and block shots and roll to the basket. Glad to see Nene playing again, hoping that he stays healthy throughout the season. James Young is 239 lb Forward who likes shooting threes. Don't know if Young is any better on the defensive end than in the past. Anyone seen these guys play this season, to state how they are on the defensive end?
The games where he scored 41 pts on 40 shots (16/40) while playing the entire 48 minutes? Same game where Harden played 31 minutes and scored 37 on 18 shots What's your definition of outshooting? Who's backcourt minutes would he take? Who would he guard?
In the preseason game Harden scored 37 points Fredette scored 41 points. Fredette is a scorer not mostly a defensive player.
