Spurs made playoffs every year and they still managed to draft their franchise player. Morey had 3 seasons that won lottery tickets and there is nothing in packet.
Spurs are the best franchise in all of the major US sports. If Pop and RC are walking through that door then I would gladly demote Morey and Pringles. But that ain't happening. So, deal with it.
Morey made excellent moves to get the right mix of players for our style of play. The rest is up to the players and coaching staff.
I have to admit George feels like a better fit than CP3 here, if only he wanted to be here. I have not heard Harden weigh in on whether he specifically wants CP3 or PG13 (or whatever number he'll become).
I'd assume he wants them like anyone else would. You know the front office discusses all moves with him.

How do you justify the 4 year extension. What have the Rockets done but treat players like pawns, which by the way is going to hurt the Rockets in free agent process. Let's see if he can justify the bad decision to give Rhino a $19 mil deal and then effectively package him and Pat into a allstar NBA player.
Yep, let's fire the guy who's on the verge of building a superteam in Houston. Look at what he's doing right now to pull off the CP3 trade. How many GMs are even competent and knowledgeable enough to execute a trade like this?
There will always be haters. Fortunately Les recognizes that Morey is one of the best GM's in basketball and is always one step ahead of most GM's.
