90's RnB star, Brandy said it best: Almost doesn't count.

Imagine if Beto just kept attacking Cruz about being a liar in addition to everything he did? I think he would have pulled it out. People have no Idea about the issues. They know fear and insults. Republicans get it.

Voted Beto but not surprised he lost. No moral victories in politics.

    Beto should be proud.

He could win next election cycle.

    Made it close.

Not an unexpected result. I'm proud to have voted for Beto.

Here's hoping that Senator Cruz actually tries to represent us, as Texans, for once instead of using as a pedestal for his hire ambitions.

Based on what? And in Cruz winning who won based on the same thing?

Huge win for Cruz. A great result tonight, giving me confidence in the great people of Texas, and their common sense, decency and values.

Nah it just mean he won all the Hicksville town by a 70-30 margin. If all the little cities didn't exist no one would care.

If the Rockets make it back to the WCF, smug-ass, punk-ass Cruz will be right there in the front row stealing all our energy..

I blame this loss on Lebron. He backed Hilary. she lost all of Ohio!

    Yes and no.

They're actually even more of one now. And they use the imbalance of regional power to hold on despite getting destroyed nationally.

Outside of the South and the rural west, where are they ascending?

But you're right in that I underestimated the baked in advantages they used with gerrymandering etc to have far reaching effects.
