I love those overlays. Really highlights an overlooked fan aspect of when a batter is at the plate... its THAT hard for the brain to make the recognition on a pitch that breaks late, no matter what the speed of something is.
His twitter account might do more to popularize the game of baseball than anything MLB tries. Concisely highlighting how special the game of baseball is one of the game's biggest problems. A sick pitch is every bit as nice as a nice dunk.
Assuming he's tall enough. Baseball should employ that animated line which shows the path of the pitch more often. Highlights occasionally do this in deciphering different pitches, but it's not shown often enough. It's cool for batted balls too.
There's a reason why hitters sometimes guess pitches before the delivery, they don't have a chance otherwise if it's thrown like that. I'd like to see him post some overlay stuff of, say, LMJ's delivery (FB/CB) when he's right vs. his last start. Peacock's slider would be another good one.
