Underrated part of this is that Hopkins can play the slot too really well on occassion with Fuller and Thomas on the outside. Gives you a chance to have multiple looks with another big body true outside receiver that runs clean routes and always has to be accounted for. The rest of the year though, yes Coutee will most likely be in the slot with DT and Dhop each occupying a side.
Not being Bias bcuz you know I hate on the Texans a lot.... but I like our deal better than anyone else on this list.
I am a fan of this deal. DT has some issues with drops, but Watson is so good at putting touch on the ball that I don't think that'll be a big issue here. Look at Will Fuller - significant drop problems in college, but with Watson, he's been rock solid
Always forget about things like this since you don't have it in the NBA. So the Eagles trade a 3rd rounder, but can basically get a 3rd or 4th rounder back. Assuming its a late 4th rounder, the Eagles basically move back a round+ for half a season of Tate. I probably would have preferred this deal.
I look at that as similar to Andre Johnson, in fact, they have a similar reception to drop ratio with Andre Johnson dropping a pass every 13 or so passes and Thomas dropping a pass every 10 or so passes. Despite the drops, I think Thomas makes for a decent #2 WR even at his current age.
Obviously I was wrong in hindsight, but when Dorsett was coming out of college I actually was pretty interested in him. We were needing a WR at the time and I liked him in the draft. Of course, he went to the Colts which made me more upset. I also liked Agholor so obviously my judgment was off. We went with Kevin Johnson so it's not like we lucked out. Anyways, I just think it would be kind of funny if this guy I wanted in the 1st round came back to us 3 years later for a 7th or something haha.
We should have just done all our trading at once. 2nd, 4th, 7th for D. Thomas and C. Harris Jr. lol. Maybe harris isnt worth at 2nd, but you know what I mean... just widen the trade lol.
Packers trade RB/WR Ty Montgomery to Baltimore for a 2020 7th Seahawks released Brandon Marshall Terrelle Pryor set to sign with the Bills (LOL)
Teams gameplanned for him, and he had trash throwing the ball to him. He was doing pretty well this year, in an average QB like Keenum. Now he's the second option at WR with DW4 throwing to him. He's going to produce.
