Ah Ennis 100% is so... base your argument off MCW sure. He's still providing that defense in a role he's never had to play (guarding 3s and 4s). Melo when given more of a run scored 20+ so basing it off this year's pick ups. I don't think it's as DRASTIC as your making it out to be.
F*ck it. Throw Joe Johnson from last year in there to for **** and giggles. Our hit rate with minimum contracts has far outweighed what we're paying them.
If we hold on to Gordon and Tucker, trading them down the line should result in bigger contracts than minimum we can bring in and if. IF. we hit on at least one those two. Why is this so unfathomable?

Honestly no one wants to give up 4 1st round picks for a rental, but our team is currently set up for a win now mode. Cp3 is highly injury prone and we're stuck with him, so gotta capitalize while he's still healthy. Unfortunately we're competing with one of the greatest teams of all times if not the greatest, and there's no telling if golden state will slow down the next few years. So I can see why Morey is willing to get rid of those picks.

Jimmy Butler is a B version Paul George and not Lebron.

I get the desperate times require desperate measures, that is why most guys would even part with 4 picks.

 

We haven’t had a first round pick since 2015.

 

Rockets quietly not playing Gary Clark because he might get traded also, Mike and Morey want to keep him.

Well those last couple if not last pick of the 4th should be a high pick.

We are either all in and a make a run at the warriors now or never. Harden is peaking and CP3 is declining. CC may still be peaking but not by a lot. We have no ways of signing anyone close to Butler caliber type players. So why not Gamble now?

Morey has never had any great success with first round picks or at least kept them. We have been using the pick or player from the pick as trade asset anyway.

4 sounds like a lot but we can always buy some and if rox played well those picks are going to be low.

My gut feeling tells me this a knee jerk reaction to 1-3 start. Morey maybe putting this out there for public consumption and may not be true.

The fact that this leaked (likely from Minnesota) indicates that it wasn’t accepted as is.

When Morey completes a deal, they announce the deal. Not speculative stuff.
