Start Gordon. Let Melo come off the bench with Ennis.

    James wasn't good.
    Chris wasn't good.
    Clint wasn't good.
    Melo wasn't good.
But sure, let's harp on Ennis.

There was no energy at all in the building either from the fans or the teams. Everyone (and I cant blame them given the stakes) were at the Astros game. I think this happened last year too for the home opener.

Ennis had his moments, but he looked really lost on offense. He didnt even touch the ball, let alone shoot until he got that dunk off the curl. That is a long time for a player not to even touch the ball. He looked to be in the wrong place at the wrong time, its going to take time for this to work.

I was surprised that MCW was so high in the rotation over Green personally that means the Rockets are trying to integrate 1 starter and 2 major bench pieces at once. You could tell how it looked more fluid with Green out there knowing where to be.

Clint played really small last night and I know its AD but he needs to show up stronger he looked deflated after AD sent back his first two shots.

So it's BJ's fault? Or did DMo overrate himself? I'm sure he would've prospered during his great stint with the Pelicans

I’d bet there was an ill advised out of control dribble into the lane resulting in a turnover sprinkled in there.

I know I’m kidding. 90% of my posts.

Just like these threads. Ariza is not the answer and wasn’t going to save us. Rockets will be fine.

If you are asking for Melo to start after we conceded 131 points to the Pelicans, you are not really a Rockets fan imo.

The problem with the starting lineup is when the ball comes up court - what are the options? Lob to Capela. Kickout to Tucker in the corner. Paul or Harden ISO. You can't live off the 1st two, so you're stuck with very limited options. That's why our offense dropped off significantly when Ryan refused to shoot. You need shooters for floor spacing. You can't have any dead offensive weight on the floor for too long.

I wouldn't have matched the 15 million but Ariza brought another option while Ennis does not. Ennis has a role but not as a fulltime Rockets' starter.

If we're not going to start Melo or Gordan, then we better be shopping because that isn't a championship lineup.

Please pass my info to Morey.

If you want to eat Steak, you need to have a $20 bill.

If you don't have a $20 bill and you only have $2 bill, please order French Fries. You've got to stop talking about steak.

Ennis, Melo and MCW are French Fries.

Were you not following the Rockets the 14-15 season? He was playing almost at an allstar level consistently the entire year. He was our 2nd option on offense.

They scored 123 on us in our first matchup last year... Ariza was getting demolished.

But hey, let's continue the knee jerk-off...

Yeah, because Trevor Ariza was going to lock down Anthony Davis and Julius Randle.

Our defense is terrible - and that's because we didn't find a suitable replacement for Jeff Bzdelik
