Marwin and Yuli need to switch places in the lineup. Yuli is giving now protection for Bregman. We have had 2 on for him so many times and nothing out of it with exception for late in game 1.

    I went too.

    Miserable experience.

Felt like an L from the first 5 minutes.

You could make a lot of legit arguments. Morton starting Games 3 & 7 is not one of them.

Nope but Bregman is better, terrifying better, and we got Kemp and White that is better than any DH last year. Also got a great defensive catcher who can actually stop the run game.

And Better starting pitching, better BP.

    Yes we are better.

I’m sure it’s already been said and it’s easy to say now..just feel like Mccullers is the best weapon out of the pen in the playoffs. Would’ve liked to see him immediately after Keuchel. I’m sure we’ll see him tomorrow. Either way, 2 won’t win many games

You don't want to overused him, but Mchugh was perfect to take it from Keuchel, and after tying the game we need to keep it right there, would have probably turn the pressure back to Boston and their pitching decisions. Instead that quick Homer gave them calm.

Agreed - tomorrow is the big one. Astros win that and they have the edge in a best-of-3 with Verlander and Cole.

    Agreed.
Win this next one and JV and Cole will handle business.

Yes, we did. We led 3-2 going back to LA...won Game 7. We are a better road team than home team(best in the majors with 57 wins, Boston was best home team with 57 wins)...we need to win the next two....like our chances winning one back at Boston...two, not so much.

He’s starting one of game 3 or 4, so which one should be based on what options it leaves for the rest of the series.

I suspect they will go with Verlander on short rest in game 7 if needed. If they needed someone else or wanted to keep Verlander as a bullpen option, then you need Keuchel or Morton to start a second game. When Morton was 100% he was better this year, he was nails in game 7 last year, and someone who can throw strikeouts is a better matchup with the Sox lineup. Since he’s not 100% and Keuchel can’t come out of the bullpen, I’d start Keuchel over Morton in a game 7 if needed.

However, it’s not crazy to have Morton start a game 7. The guy started and won game 7 of the ALCS last year and he pitched better this year than last.

    Porcello.

I expect the strategy will be to pitch carefully to Springer-Altuve-Bregman and make anybody else attempt to beat them (that's a joke, btw...)
