if there is one thing about these astros, it's that they are resilient.

there was many times last year they could have folded and they kept fighting.

just tie it up next game and it's a best of 3 series.

You can literally count the amount of time your fandom exists in days and you wonder why someone might think people are being ridiculous based on a very recent past?

I understand the defensive need but Kemp,Reddick,McCann,Correa and Yuli are dead weight at the plate. Bregs, Marwin and Altuve (leg) can't get it done alone. On top of that pitching is now suspect. We have to have the next 2 to have a realistic chance. JMO.

That was cute of Hinch to concede this game early on well before it was appropriate. Maybe he thinks we will perform better with our backs against the wall. Fans in attendance can piss off!

You’re being obtuse. Of course we had momentum after tying it up. Putting Smith in killed us. Putting Osuna in during a non save situation was also of course incredibly stupid.

Good to know that the announcers are Boston fans.

Considering how many stinkers we’ve put up at home this year, I’m honestly not too surprised about this. Just get it out of the way and win the next two.

Bringing J. Smith proved costly. Things would have changed, Osuna won't break out of his routine and pitch being down by one.
This team never backs down though.

    Yep.

I have faith in Morton, JV and Cole. Disappointed, but not worried.

This series is going to be a fight. Local radio host were predicting "Astros in 5". Last couple of games a reality check. The team needs to dig in and get to work. The Sox went into a tough environment and dealt with the Yankees so they're not pushovers by any stretch.

Momentum may have been in Boston's favor, but momentum in a game that close can flip in a single at-bat. It's completely asinine to suggest that Joe Smith's solo shot lost the game more than Osuna's abortion of an 8th inning did. 5 > 1. You don't need to be a mathematician to do that math, chief.
