High intensity game. Jags come out hungry after getting blown out. Texans with a renewed sense of hope, being miraculously tied for division lead after what feels like the ugliest start ever. I really really really hope the Texans win but think it is almost impossible with our O-Line.
If this were at NRG, I'd give the Texans a better shot. Tough game on the road + the Jags coming off 2 blowout losses against the Chiefs and Cowboys. I'd expect them to win this game. If we can force enough turnovers somehow, we might have a shot.
If our defense doesn't come through, our shitty OL will let the Jags win. That line will cost us a lot of wins this season.
The game depends upon which Deshaun Watson shows up. If the one from last week shows up, the Texans have no chance.
Brain- how big is this game? BOB- Division lead is on the table Brain!!!! We’ll play for the tie.. Next question?
Its sad BOB isn't smart enough to copy the naked bootleg Kubiak often ran for Schaub when our O-line was beat up. Watson would thrive using this, especially now that he is injured.
The bootleg only works when you can effectively run the ball out of from center. Also not sure that a naked bootleg is all that great for Watson considering how long he has been holding onto the ball or his decision making when running as of late.
It works especially well also with the zone scheme running. It tricks most of the defense to attack the strong side side and usually the QB will have 1 receiver on the weak side. If that receiver is covered then there is running room for the QB.
Stop me if you've heard this one before but a BOB Texans team is pretty good everywhere but offense.....allegedly what BOB does well.
Is this the Greatest special team in Texans history? Would be nice to have a return over 25 yds to help the offense a bit.
No that would just lead to stalled drives in the endzone. Special teams needs to just go ahead and do the scoring themselves.
