I dont think its really "insider info", but as I said before, DM isn't giving up until that trade call goes through with another team. The guy is relentless. He is working on this every day. The man is a beast. He is a machine.
Its not about how weak the offer was. If anything, the offer would have to be pretty good because of what the Lakers are allowed to offer. Do your homework before you piggyback on someone else's argument. Run along now kiddo
Lakers are saving all assets and expiring pieces, everything, for a big AD proposal this season. I do not see the Lakers making other plays until then. Maybe a small move here and there.
I get it if we were forming a team with young players but Houston's window is right now. If/when KAT (and maybe Wiggins) hit their prime, Harden and Butler should be exiting theirs. It's one thing to not want to send Butler to Houston because the offers aren't attractive but it's a bit comical that one of the reasons why is because they don't want to help another team out because it somehow makes Houston unstoppable.
Imagine being the Pelicans....not wanting to trade AD...but being in a position to consider competing offers from the Lakers and Celtics for AD.
That franchise has done a piss poor job of building around Davis that I'm fairly confident they will do a piss poor job in getting assets for AD if/when the time comes too.
Is there any truth to what Cod's source said that Butler hated the idea of playing with Lebron? Windhorst also had said that some stars dont' like playing with Bron. I wonder how this will affect their chances in signing in FA a star.
Wow. I didn’t even consider the idea of the bidding war between those two. That’s insane. Boston could definitely outbid Lakers, but man they might have to accept giving away so so much
We just need to tell Glen Taylor that he can attend the parade when we win and he can have a replica ring as well.
The bidding war could be fascinating. Aside from assets, maybe the Celtics have an edge just because they are in the east. But, AD is with Klutch.....so if they want to steer him in a direction......then that could change things.
