So, Drummond got the green light to shoot as many threes as he pleases this season. So far in the preseason he's 0/11. It makes sense though, why not have one of the best offensive rebounders of all time camp at the 3pt line and shoot it at a 10-15% clip? Genius.
Jimmy Buckets came back for one day, took a giant dump on the team and perhaps destroyed whatever chemistry/confidence they developed during camp. For him, mission accomplished.
DeMarre Carroll out indefinitely to have ankle surgery Brooklyn Nets forward DeMarre Carroll will undergo surgery on his right ankle Tuesday and will be out indefinitely, coach Kenny Atkinson told reporters Tuesday. Atkinson did not provide a timetable for Carroll's return but told reporters that he did not consider the injury to be serious. Atkinson also announced that guards Allen Crabbe (ankle) and Shabazz Napier (hamstring) will not play in Wednesday's regular-season opener against the Detroit Pistons. Carroll, 32, was Brooklyn's third-leading scorer and second-leading rebounder last season, averaging 13.5 points and 6.6 rebounds per game. The 10-year veteran is entering his second season with the Nets.
