I still say OKC snakes him somehow... and they still get bounced first round.

Wiggins and KAT gonna need Dieng to escort them to their cars every night as long as Jimmy is still a Timberwolf.

We have Melo for instant offense. And Jimmy's job wouldn't be instant offense he's a much better player than that.

True that, but JB is forcing his way out thus making anything possible.

In fairness, I hadn't heard anything about Kawhi going to Toronto either.

I do think Toronto has more in appealing young assets than we do if that's what Minnesota is looking for. It would also be a HUGE gamble for Toronto with both Leonard and Butler ready to head into free agency. But the East is wide open for more or less the first time since Lebron graduated high school so I could see it.

Butler audience isn't us or the other teams. It is Glenn Taylor.
Trying to piss him off. But beware not to overdo it with all the espn interviews...

Ben Golliver invented the term spite trade which we may be able to witness depending on what Butler says today to the press.
Phoenix is looking for that elusive star afterall.

I’m a little confused about this...Butler has been the primary defender on guys like Lebron, KD, Kawhi, Harden, etc and still averaged 20+ ppg

Why is it all of the sudden gonna be so hard for him to defend these guys and score on the other end once he comes here? It’s what he’s been doing since he became a star. He’s a borderline top 10 player and 1 of the best 2-way guys in the league for a reason. He’s always been the main defender on these guys for his team. It’s not like he was out there guarding role players every night.

I’d imagine that Jimmy would have two big jobs with us.

    1. Be the number 2 offensive option on the floor behind CP3 and Harden whenever one of them is sitting.

    2. Be the Draymond of the wing. Be the enforcer that PJ is down low so CP3 doesn’t get overworked due to his size.

You're more than welcomed to read through the "james harden is a rocket" thread from six years ago, for the lulz. Or how about when we traded Summer league all star De'anthony Melton.

There's plenty of guys that are on the trading block, like Nic Batum, Kidd-Gilchrist, Marvin Williams just to name a few. All versatile, athletic, defensive minded role players. I'm pretty sure I mentioned them in a previous thread. Even James Ennis looks like a younger, athletic version of Ariza.

There would be some epic practices with Harden, CP3, Butler, Melo and Nene.......

    Someone
Ohhh I had not thought of the Suns. A Jimmy deal could certainly happen. The Suns are crazy and they have the assets. Jimmy in Phoenix wouldn't end well.

I mean we heard a little bit a couple of days before he was traded. There were definitely some rumblings.

Everything he did was True Warrior.

Dennis Rodman, Latrell Sprewell and Ron Artest did a lot worse, but it never hurt their True Warrior status, nor market demand.

Fans are quick to protect the soft sensibilities of bust lotto picks, "Oh, he just needs a change of atmosphere to thrive." But when the True Warriors RAWR, those same fans get scared and say get that guy out of my Safe Zone.

Correct. I dont see that being a daunting task for Jimmy at all. That why I question if the pizza hut guy ever seen him play before.

you're more than welcome to read Rockets trade for cp3 thread and the overwhelmingly number of approval. Once again you're fake news.

why are you even mentioning ariza. It's PJ Tucker and everything that he does that is being questioned here.

you actually named MKG as someone to replace a Tucker. So this is going to come in and provide what PJ does. Get a clue please
