    Maybe its a DM ploy...
First offer: "You can have EG and PJ, but no 1st round picks--they're too valuable!"
Offer tomorrow. "Ok, I've reconsidered and understand you don't really want a 33-year old PF when you have Taj, so I'll give you our 2019 1st, Nene, and some great young talent that are scrappy defenders--Vince Edwards, Angel Rodriguez, and Brandon Sampson. What do you say Thibs?"

I guess I’d have to root for Miami getting Butler IF, we have to send EG and PJ while taking on Dieng...ouch!

Just glanced down the list of GARM threads and for a split second thought this one said:

41 pts while taken 40 shots. That’s 50% of teams total shots.

I think it's well past time that we moved on. Give it up. It's over. But it's ok because we have Gary Clark.

if we're facing paying the LT for any length of time first round picks are very valuable to us because of their cheap 4 year contracts.

PJ Tucker is NOT on the table in any Jimmy Butler trade. @cyberx is great and I'm sure he has heard from legit sources that Tucker is on the table. He's not making anything up.

But this is where you've got to use common sense and read between the lines while understanding our team. We're not trading Tucker in any Butler trade. Tucker is our third most important player. He's simply too valuable at his salary on this particular team playing this particular system to be traded for Butler or anybody else sans Davis/Durant/Portzingis.

It would seem Miami was on the 2 yard line.

We know what being on the 2 yard line feels like.

Well, you've convinced me that you really are a knuckle dragging troglodyte and that I shouldn't waste my time on you. Thanks for that I guess.

@cyberx isn't using sense here. I have no idea how good or bad his sense is. @cyberx is reporting factually what he's been told. We don't know how he feels about what he's been told. He's just telling us what he's been told from a person/people that are in the loop. And those guys that tell stuff, they tell a lot of erroneous things for their own benefit.

PJ Tucker is NOT on the table in any trade talks regarding Butler... ...even though Minny wants people to think he's on the table because they've brought him up and Morey listened. We aren't offering Tucker in any Butler (or Winslow) trade.

You did see who else is on his team though right? Fredette and Scola are the only two players that can create their own shot against a NBA team.

Whilst true, Scola only got 13 shots. He was not only more efficient than Fredette, but he has an accomplished history with the NBA.

Fredette really should have taken half as many shots, and Scola taken twice as many.
