so how many games does this "worse than last year" boston team get in the ALCS i mean for someone who thinks the only person boston has is JD, there's quite a ways to go for you there
You seriously lack in reading comprehension skills. I said that JD is all that they added. I said that JD deepens/extends their lineup. I admitted that their offense is better. But even so, I told you why I believe they are overall worse and therefore why I would rather play them as opposed to the Yankees. And because I am not a jerk...I will answer your question. Mainly because I like talking baseball, not necessarily because you deserve a response. In a 7 game series with Boston I see Chris Sale getting a game and maybe one of Nathan Eovaldi/their offense getting one so I would say astros in 5 or 6. If they both happen (eovaldi and offense) then Astros in 7. In the long run our pitching will prove to be too dominant for their offense and our offense, need I remind you who is also good, will get too much of a pretty sucky pitching staff outside of Kimbrel (who has no bridge to get to him) and Chris Sale (who is probably not 100 percent and maybe just maybe might be a little snake bit by the astros). In a 7 game series with the yankees I think their ability to shorten a game because of their bullpen and because of how hard it is to play in Yankee Stadium that the series will go 7. Game 7 being a tossup which hinges on their starters ability to get through 5 innings of 1 or 2 run ball.
puzzling logic here. A worse team does better than what they were previously. Bullpen and starting pitching is worse yet Sale is getting a win. interesting.
Yep. The worse team is going to get multiple games as opposed to the better team winning less. excellent consistent logic there
I have tried to refrain from name calling...but there is a really good chance that you are just an idiot.
and I have done the same. you're a moron for somehow thinking this years boston team is worse than last years
If you think Yankees could give us trouble, then it is good news because the Boston is likely going to win that series.
I think he said the exact opposite in post 82. I think both the Yankees and the Red Sox are dangerous. I just hope it goes to 5, and both are emotionally/physically drained. Both teams will be challenging, but either one will be facing the team that eliminated them last year, and who will hopefully eliminate them again this year. Go Stros!!
Read #62... His initial response Poster A got caught up arguing with a guy who ignores everything that doesn't go with his narrative. Poster B has been arguing "f*** last season" for 2 pages, but when someone posted "THIS season" in #58, he blows it off (#59) by saying "doesn't matter.... it wasn't the playoffs". LMAO at this silly debate
considering you weren't even part of the conversation but thanks anyway. you obviously didnt fully get the point
