That is what happens when you tell your boss getting a replacement level point guard isn't hard to do....... and everyone wants a #1 pick for one.
Right....... come in and blame every problem on the prior front office and every success should be credited to the ownership group and those still associated with the team.
hohoho wouldn't it be funny if Kidd got yet another one fired to get his job? I rarely feel pity and compassion for another team but if this happened I will shed a tear for Suns fans.
Too late PHX, Anderson and Ariza are officially YOUR problems! BTW, who will release Trevor now so he can re-sign with the Rockets??? #askingtherealquestions
I don't think that Zarren would take the job, because he would likely want a strong owner that is going to let him run the team. Zarren is extremely bright. I am surprised that he did not get the Sixers job.
Absent the owner issue ... which admittedly I'm not in the know on ... it's not a bad position. I would have drafted Doncic #1, but at least Ayton looks like he has KAT level potential (will have to see if he can defend) and Booker is as solid a real young guy as there is and locked in for 5 years. Ariza was only signed for 1 year and Ryno is an expiring next offseason. TJ Warren puts up stats - not sure if they translate to wins. They have all their own first round picks, plus the Bucks next year if it falls 4-16 ... or the following year unless its top 7. The move in the draft where they gave up next year's Heat pick was horrible... unless Mikal Bridges somehow turns into something real nice (and he's already out for the entire preseason...) Asset wise its not bad, and that's ignoring Josh Jackson - personally I'm not a fan of these MKW, Justice Winslow types that hope and a prayer will figure out offense... I mean I like them, but as a role player obviously... especially for a team now in need of a PG when Fox, DSJr and Donovan Mitchell were drafted after Jackson (not to mention Lauri, John Collins, others)... But if the owner sucks, the owner sucks...
