This year SAS narrative: Houston Rockets will be worse this year because on the defensive end they lost Trevor Ariza and LUC EM BAH A MOU TE!! Next year SAS narrative: Houston Rockets will be worse this year because on the defensive end they lost James Ennis and MCW *in comes Morey's next 3&D guy on a vet min.
This is the entire media take. Talk about being clueless huh.. Crazy how we have to prove these bleeps wrong ever freaking year.
Bwhahaha and Randy Livingston can shoot the three huh. All MCW has to do is play his game. Slash, drive to the basket and create for others. You're over analyzing this a little too much.
They def will not give up on Edwards so soon. He’s HOU’s only pick and will probably get 3 years to showcase his talent before the team moves on from him. Also an NBA team can only have a max of 15 players on its team with only 12 active players. So technically speaking we only have room for 1 player to make the team and the way Gary Clark has looked I’m sure he will make the final spot. I too had high hopes for Bruno but I see now why TOR moved on from him. He’s clumsy on his feet and doesn’t take advantage of his height.
He is definitely pushing the ball up the court. Whomever is in the game with him needs to also run to maximize his skills.
What is scary about the bench is that Brandon Knight is going to come back and Rockets have even more depth at Point Guard.
"depth" - Regular season depth has a chance to be very good. The question is, do the Rockets have "playoff depth." Depth where MDA is "comfortable" to play 8 (or 9) players. Versus the 6 to 7 he did last year.
Im loving MCW right now. I just want him to stay within himself. He gets into trouble when he starts trying to do too much, like ISO and try and beat people off the dribble. He is much better in the flow of things. ISOs need to be strictly limited to harden, cp3, ego, and occasionally melo.
Regular season I think is when you find out what kind of depth you have. This scrub-on-scrub violence in the pre-season is somewhat meaningless to me at this point.
Bruno needs time in the D-league to practice being a big, not a SF. He sets awful screens, he doesn't have the mentality of a big, but a lengthy PF/small ball C with some perimeter skills is a better role for him than a SF with poor perimeter skills.
MCW shooting is midrange, but now it's near the basket, MCW speed must be the fastest along with James Ennis. Brandon Knight during his career. Chris Paul and James Harden have to be 6th or 7th Fastest on the team. The Bench players have beaten the Starters in Practice which says they are fast and out hustling them.
Stephen A. Smith, ESPN, Fox and many Media Critics 2014 - Losing Chandler Parsons will hurt the team, Signing Trevor Ariza won't help Chandler Parsons grew an ego, became overpaid, has bad knees, became overweight, had surgeries 2015 LAC - Hou Semi Finals " Clippers are better than the Rockets, Clippers Choked" James Harden Carried his Team and should be MVP Stephen Curry Media Darling is MVP, with All Star teammates 2016 - Kevin McHale Fired, Media Backlash started and blamed Harden Clap, Clap. Kevin McHale doesn't even know any plays to run, and gets paid Millions of Dollars, Great Job Les Alexander. Dwight Howard wants James Harden traded lol, Dwight leaves in FA, Celebration ensues Secretly in Front Office with recent hiring of Mike DAntoni and Daryl Morey popping Champagne bottles when Dwight left 2017 - Mike DAntoni will have a bad year and his team doesn't play defense. Jeff Bzdelik as Defense Coordinator Signed Eric Gordon, Ryan Anderson, won't have impact. Both shot the ball well that year. Eric became 3 Pt Champion and 6th man of the Year. Russell Westbrook has Triple Doubles, James Harden destroyed Russell Westbrook in the Playoffs Russell Westbrook is a Fake MVP winner 2018 - Chris Paul and James Harden won't work because they are both ball dominant Point Guards. James Harden is Your NBA MVP 2019 - Losing Trevor Ariza, Luc Mbah Moute will make the Rockets defense worse. Carmelo Anthony won't fit with Rockets, and be bad at defense and a bad teammate.
Chriss has looked pretty lost. Not impressed thus far. MCW has been looking like he can find a niche. Ennis will be solid...
I understand but the direction basketball is headed with positionless basketball he should be able to play multiple spots rather than just focus on 1.
