This sucks but i would be more concerned if we didn’t have cp3. He’ll make sure everyone still gives solid effort on that end. But it’s a blow none the less just Because he was one of the best assistant coaches in the league.
I can't imagine worse possible news coming out now -- short of Harden having a miscarraige or something.
The only one happy Jeff Bzdelik is retiring is @LorneMalvo The practices in the Caribbean was too good. Jeff retiring to the Bahamas...
already lost 2 3&D SF/PF's who were important to the rockets regular season success defensively, now they lose the mastermind of their defense. this is bad man, real bad.
Ugh. This hurts big time. Dare I say worse than the loss of Ariza and Moute? Back to outscoring teams again I guess. Sigh.
I wish DM contact him and he is willing to take the assistant coach job. Please god bless Rockets. We are so close to take down those girls.
the signs are there -coming off a WCF appearance -add Lawson: add Melo -Harden out of shape: Harden pregnant
https://www.chron.com/sports/rocket...e-head-coach-Jeff-Bzdelik-retire-13234069.php Jeff Bzdelik, the Rockets’ associate head coach who oversaw the dramatic improvement in the team’s defense, will announce his retirement on Monday. “Great to work with. We’ll miss him,” Rockets coach Mike D’Antoni said. “He had an unbelievable career in the NBA. Wish him the best in his next phase.” ESPN initially reported Bzdelik’s decision to step down. Bzdelik, 65, had been weighing whether to return for a third season on Mike D’Antoni’s staff throughout the summer, reaching his decision this weekend, an individual with knowledge of the decision said. He had been uncertain about taking on the demands and time away from family of another season.
