His casting was one of the better aspects of the DC movies recently. In fact, casting in general was fine with the movies.

It's just the writing, directing, marketing, sfx were all ****.

Henry Cavil could have been the perfect Superman and they screwed it up.. I heard this dude is a real jackass though.

Cavill going from Superman and Mission Impossible to Netflix's Wicther series is not a great move.

    Well, this is just stupid.

DC is terrible. Sad that Wonder Woman is their one and only solid movie.

What was the first tweet in the post? It seems to have been removed. Was it Cavill blasting somebody?

Cavill must have no use for money.

"as DC focuses on Supergirl instead"

SMH, DC is so incredibly incompetent, if that was the move they wanted to make, why bring Superman back for Justice League? Why not just leave him dead and make the switch to Supergirl? You could always bring "superman" back later in the form of Superboy or something else to make the transistion from Cavill easier.

That said, this means that the DCEU will have lost both their Batman and their Superman in only 5 films.

As to Cavill, I understand him wanting to get off that sinking ship and if he does a good job as Geralt of Rivia and the show doesn't suck due to studio interference or the show runners going with political BS over the best story telling then it'll be a smart move. The Witcher has a ton of lore and if done right could make for an amazing series.

GOOD! Now he can focus on the sequel to the Man from UNCLE. He fits that smug, pompous spy role so much better.

DC just cant seem to get out of its own way.

I think they're literally trying to get out of their own way with the new Joker movie though. The Joaquin Phoenix one.

Good, its obvious Cavill will be the next Bond so this is a logical move especially with the Affleck dilemma. DC needs to reset

Shame they can't get their **** together. Grew up watching the animated Justice League series so I've always been more of a DC person than Marvel.
