I would be happily surprised if he can contribute. He played like trash even before the injury. No one on the board wanted him. He's overpaid, not a great shooter, turnover prone, and a poor defender. The only saving grace is that he's still better than MCW so we at least we won't go insane watching that guy play.
We won't be relying on him to lead us, we got that already. He could be a good backup PG to rest CP more this year. 10-15 mins a game. Just come in and get a few buckets and make a couple plays and he had done his part. Some people going waaaay to far in their judgement of how good he is. Let's see what he does in our system not that sorry Suns system.
I liked him at UK, and I liked him in the NBA. When healthy, he does a little of everything. Kind of a combo guard. Avaeraged 20/5/4 two years ago, I believe. If healthy, hes a steal.
Lesson: Keep him off the floor with less than 2 minutes on the clock. Problem solved! Nice steal, though.
So glad I don't have to hear that annoying commentary ever again. That team is back to being completely irrelevant along with their annoying fanbase.
What's his name Livingston for Golden State. He had a career ending type leg injury. GS picked him up, gave him a couple of years to heal and now he is a rotation contributor. Maybe Knight will turn into that.
