That's looking at it from the optimists' POV. Which I typically side with.

But the way JJ's injuries have mounted up on him within the past two seasons, I can't imagine him coming back to becoming that dominant DE we once cherished. It's only natural to look at it from a pessimistic POV.

I remember Whitney will be back, but if he and Clowney (along with JJ) can stay healthy and wreck havoc... why not keep them on the roster? That is without saying "at an agreeable price" for Clowney. If not, then you're right. Toss him back into the ocean the way we did with Super Mario.

That D-line at full strength just makes you gush though, you know. If they can stay healthy and stay together I can't imagine why we couldn't roll off a couple SB appearances the way the Giants did with their terrific line. Now that we actually have a worthwhile QB, it would put us that much closer.

In my opinion, the Texans need to be actively scouring the RB market as cuts occur as camp progresses. Not sure what options might become available to them, but you can do better than an at-best average Miller, a gimpy undependable Foreman, and Alfred “I wish we could put his heart in our better players” Blue. Participate in one fantasy football draft and you’ll see what conventional wisdom thinks of the Texans RB core and RB is the most in-demand position in fantasy football this year.

I hate to say it but if Eddie Lacy isn't "too" fat, I'd give him a call.

Get Demarco out of retirement. Tell him we play the cowboys twice this year.

    They shoulve signed Alfred Morris.

Well Demarco has his cush job lined up at Fox, so I don't see that happening. Yes, we should have signed Alfred Morris.

(*As someone who doesn't pay that close attention*)I took Lamar Miller in the 3rd round of my fantasy draft to be my RB2 because I thought he would get a ton of touches on a good offense... bad choice?

If it's a PPR league it might be a solid choice.....assuming BOB figures out what Lamar Millier is best at.

Ouch, well, you could have done worse. He'll still be the feature back and should get over 1000 all purpose yards

Truth be told I'm not the most knowledgeable NFL fan... but it was the 23rd pick (round 3 in a 10 team league) and I thought I had better grab a starting RB( I had grabbed Zeke at #3 and Julio at #18), who wouldn't be in a RB by committee situation while he was still available

The next best RB's available were McKinnon, Mixon, Lynch, Alex Collins, Derrick Henry, S. Michel and Kenyan Drake.

He's still probably be a top 25 back. You could do worse
