    When Blake Griffin destroys the team, assistant GM will be GM. Unless assistant GM destroys the team Colangelo style.

    Essentially whatever the GM delegates to them. It varies from team to team. In some cases an assistant GM can go as far as working out provisional trades, scout players, talk to agents and handle some contract negotiations. It really depends on how hands on the GM is.

    From what I recall he was working as an advisor for the Rockets. He built the ESPN NBA Trade Machine. I have this vision that Morey had him running fake trades 24 hours a day. LOL

    I can't imagine how many trade ideas he will try to come up with for Blake Griffin and Andre Drummond.
