The three little pigs and the big bad wolf! I'm beginning to think we'll be seeing Elmer Fudd and his shotgun next. Having said that, I hope there's something to it, something that would make us cheer. Bugs Bunny?
Maybe the three little pigs is @Codman digging at how fat Thibodeaux, Ernie Grunfeld', and Atlanta's new GM are. We're getting Jimmy Buckets y'all JK . @Codman is a bit too professional for that
Don't let the T-shirt distract you from the fact that the time on the clock in the back is at 12:13. Harden wears #13 . Guess who wears #12 for the Wizards #TheOubreOrder
also Troy Brown Jr... THE WIZARDS HAVE TOO MANY 2s at the 3, so maybe they'll take our 3s at the 4. Spoiler: Shhh
Things happen for a reason, brothers. Otto Porter only played two games against GSW last year but those numbers....my God those numbers https://www.basketball-reference.com/players/p/porteot01/gamelog/2018/
@Nachobar, if you're not too busy working on Melo's contract, we're going to need a ruling on this 3 pigs/big bad wolf thing.
maybe! I would love either of them but I just don't see us having enough chips to entice washington. porter is on a large contract but he's also a really good player and the wiz can definitely get more than ryno and a pick for him. they probably see him as part of their core. not sure if they really want to trade him. oubre makes more sense since he's in a contract year and they probably don't want to pay him sext summer since they're over the LT already. However with rivers, morris, smith, and sato coming off the books, can't they afford to give him $15m? and can't he start alongside porter as combo forwards? its just a situation that seems like it shouldn't be a situation. so I just don't think the likelihood for acquiring either is too high. i'm sticking with james johnson, marvin, or bazemore as most likely.
he could possibly be a better fit than jimmy butler who's more of a 2/3. 2 games is a small sample size of course but he's a great matchup against the warriors. i wonder what it would take? ryno saves them $6M per year for 2 years. that's pretty good when your over the LT. getting out of the 3rd year of porters contract shouldn't be that big of a motivator since porter is worth his contract more or less and they NEED talent. they're not a free agent destination. would we go as high as 2 picks and melton? would that even be enough? i think oubre is more likely since he's in his final year and they have troy brown to replace him. they probably don't want to pay him next summer. maybe oubre and mahinmi for ryno and a pick? that adds to their tax bill this year and next. their other contracts are expiring so even if we take on $ to lower their bill this year, we still add to it next with the ryno/mahinmi swap. i just don't see it happening either way with Washington
Can't come up with any trade that makes sense with Washington. Don't see why we would be interested in Tyler Johnson for 20 mil per. Finding a deal for Marvin Williams that works for everyone is hard but can work with Sac. We can't do a 1-1 there Finding a deal for James Johnson is the same as Marvin Williams. Can find a deal with Sac for Shump Can find a deal with the Hawks for Bazemore Can find a deal with the Hornets for Batum A deal for Bazmore would require assets going out A deal for Shump would require assets going out A deal for Batum would require assets coming in
https://bit.ly/2voCG4M The trade idea on this article not bad Winslow, Johnson for Anderson, Qi and a 1st
Heat giving up on Winslow? I mean he hasn't played well for them but that is just surprising. Think he shot like 37-38% from 3 last year. I would do that deal in 2 seconds.
I would jump all over that if I was the Rockets. I don't see it happening though. I don't see Miami trading Winslow for the return in that package.
