Need more information about the problem. The best option is always the friendliest option. You will be living next to them in the future, right?
Let's see... Option 1: yes, if they committed a serious crime and you're sure about it. Option 2: yes, if they're leaving untied trash bags around the curb and raccoons are getting in them. Option 3: yes, to most anything non-criminal and non-trivial that is really bothering you or your family. Option 4: yes, if he slapped the ass of a family member. Option 5: yes, if the music is a tad louder than you would prefer, or he's having a once-per-year raging party.
I voted Person to person. this guy confronted me because I would cross his yard and in between his drive-way when I walked by his place. The thing is his kids have these big trucks jacked up 8 ft in the air that blocked the entire side walk and there is no way I' was going to get onto a dangerous street. . I then told him it's a fine to block the sidewalk. He went back inside the house. Since then, the trucks are parked normally nor I walk on his yard. People are touchy about their yards. But it was a win win. I wouldn't have confronted him though. I would have kept doing the same thing.
Depends on what it is. If it's inconsiderate behavior - you ask them to stop. If it's intentionally damaging your property, you get photos and ask them to pay you or go to small claims court. If they threaten you with harm you call the cops. If it's not that big of a deal, you let it go. If they keep trying to screw you up the butt and you don't enjoy it - maybe you should consider telling them to stop next time. If none of those apply those apply, maybe they aren't so bad after all.
The best way to smooth things over with a neighbor is to call them out publicly to their face. That always makes things better and in no way leads to retaliation.
His neighbor is a Navajo spirit talker and he wants to call him out for all of the swastikas he has all over the place. Call it a "whirling log" all you want, it doesn't make it okay.
The best way to respond to a post with literally zero context ? what is the best way A - Answer every possible situation like B-Bob (what a ****ing champ) B - Ignore it C - Wait or ask for further context to be revealed D - Make joke about ****ing the neighbor's wife for likes (it certainly got mine) E - Make mock post of OP's thread what way is best. please debate and discuss
yes they have repeatedly called the police on me for parking on the street even though it is legal what should i do
Make sure where you park your car is totally legal, call the cops on yourself, talk to the cops and explain the situation. Sic the cops on your neighbors for harassment if they are in the wrong.
Confront ... but in a way that let’s them tell their side and shows a willingness to actually resolve the issue. Or stop blowing your damn grass in my driveway.
