Capela isn't thinking logical. Being delusional can at times be a positive but sometimes it can be taken too far. With no offensive ability outside of PNR, he is totally reliant on elite play makers. If you play for the QO this year and choose another team, he may be lucky to get 20 million(I highly doubt with the market bigs are getting now). He needs to focus on 4 years from now. Harden and Paul are going to be responsible for his next contract after these next 4 to 5 years where he can sign for an additional lucrative deal. If he goes somewhere else and doesn't have a Harden to feed him consistently, this may be his last decent contract. Think logical here Clint.
If Clint chooses to play for thew QO MDA has to play him 36 minutes a game. No more coddling, you show the world that he cannot function without Harden or James on the floor. Edit: Harden or Paul lol.
Please, sir, be careful how you say, "It will be all over this week." I am old and that kind of talk frightens me...
Man, Capela is playing a risky game if he decides to take the QO.... I actually think the Rockets offered him a fair deal considering no one else has offered anything. Look at what has happened to IT or Nerlens Noel in just one season.
No one else offered him anything cause this free agency people had no money to spend on him. Unfortunately, I cant really blame him for taking the QO. He'll be able to get a real big pay day next season. Man, I feel like they really should have made Clint feel good during the offer, this just doesnt sit right with me having our own home grown player feel this way.
They should give Capela the ball. Prove that he can score on his own. Show that he’s worth the max. It’s a win-win for the rockets. If he’s capable of scoring on his own, then they will offer him the max. If he can’t, it will lower his value around the league, making it easier for the rockets to re-sign.
Well I was hoping he'd go elsewhere. I don't see it working out but I sure hope it does. Thanks cyberx. I hope all is well for you.
