Definitely going to be a 5. Just like Capela, it will be a combination of putting on small amounts of muscle at a time while at the same time the C position continues to shrink. It's difficult to put on muscle and improve your shooting at the same time so Qi needs some time for sure. IMO he does not NEED to add more muscle to be a 3rd string C, but he does need to improve his defense. @TechieOne is on point with his analysis - Qi needs to commit harder to stopping guards on the switch, rather than being overconfident in his ability to block the ball after getting beaten.
I like his aggressiveness in the paint. When he learns not to foul, he's gonna be a monster. The only thing he needs to do is catch passes and throw it down.
Hartenstein might be able to take up that role too. He is better than Nanu, for sure. He is more ready to play than Zhou right now too.
3 point shot, blocks, feel for the game.. all cool, but if he keeps getting crossed and ending up 10 feet behind the play while the guard he switched onto is getting a layup then none of it matters.
There is another big hole in Zhou's game, he is a fouling machine. in 4 games played in the summer league, he is averaging 6 fouls per game with limited playing time. 7 PF Rox vs Pacers 3 PF Rox vs GSW 9 PF Rox vs LAC 5 PF Rox vs BKN
Lol I can't imagine a debate that prompts such conclusion. Balkan Slavs are mostly white yeah...actually pretty close to 100% Only Albanians may be a bit darker, but still caucasian.
