Seems like Mitch Lawrence has been out of the game for awhile but would be funny if Lin and Carmelo, former oil-and-water teammates in New York and now both significantly overpaid, were traded for each other.
LOFs in OKC b****ing about Westbrook....noice! That makes Melo available as FA after buyout, though, right?
Don't know how this deal works out, Brooklyn desperately needs talents, ANYTHING. While, Lin is probably good in a role player role for OKC .. good 6th man.
So Brooklyn buys Melo's contract out in exchange for getting rid of Lin? It's amazing how much people don't like Lin after a year or so. The initial not drafting of Lin seems accurate. He's not NBA worthy I guess.
He was really good in Brooklyn before his injuries kicked in. It's not his fault he can't stay healthy. Just because his fans are annoying doesn't mean we have to **** on his career. He's been a great teammate and a great professional. Dude carved out a successful career for himself after going undrafted.
I’m just surprised that okc wants to take on more salary. Even after buying out Melo they would have been in luxury tax.
Best of all, the Raymond Felton - Jeremy Lin competition would be gloriously re-kindled! I'm too late, it's already started! See above . . .
Really good? He wasn't even averaging 20 ppg. Only 4 assists and not efficient at all. He's not a great teammate, he loses games late being a bonehead. Good for him for making a career for himself, but he's not a winner. He's a divisive character who is an attention seeking hoor. The dude quoted the bible because the Rockets wanted to get a player that wears his number. He's weak minded. Thinks too highly of himself and is an I in team game.
