This isn't about TP. Or the Spurs. This is about how terrible MJ and co are at running a team.

You know the reason why Tony Parker signed with Charlotte:

Parker is done. Should have finished off his career in San Antonio.

This is another Hakeem/Raptors, Malone/Lakers situation. It will be sad to see him in that jersey. Spurs fans are not having a good summer.

What is Charlotte doing though? Is he just going to be a tutor?

If I were Tony, even if I thought it was time to retire I wouldn't be able to turn down TEN MILLION dollars. Hell, I'd rather just show up and donate it all to charity than just say no. I know it's not a lot of money when considering what he has been paid over his career, but it's still an awful lot of money.

Well.... let’s be completely honest Pop, not EVERYONE in the Spurs family will miss Tony. Things won’t be so awkward for Brent Barry anymore.

I think the Derek Fisher/Matt Barnes feud was soo much more amusing though.

What's the point of Tony doing this? You want to spend your last year in Charlotte??

Lots of reason. One being he knows he will likely live 40+ more years and he will likely never make 7 figures again in a year. He can use that last $10,000,000. Second, it could be that he really wants to keep playing and the Spurs are going in a direction. He likely enjoys playing and knows this is his last shot.

I feel for Spurs fans. Between the inevitability of losing their franchise player at some point in the near future to watching a guy like Parker that helped lead them to 4 championships wearing a different jersey. I mean, that's a lot to process.
