Did people forget how bad Boogie was to Pelicans locker room? Nah, people are saying how GS is now really unfair.
left field bc it made no sense. based on what? just because you say so? sorry that doesn't have much validity aside from your biased lebron hate which is well known on this board. who cares if the cavs made it to the finals, especially coming out the east. their defense sucks. Theres only one team hou is worried about and thats GS. what happened when the cavs got there. they gave up 108, 110, 122, 124 and got swept. Next
So let me try a finish your point. If D'Antoni and Morey with Harden's and Cp3's blessing peruse Melo to make the rockets have another play maker to replace Ariza, which there's a huge chance because they tried to do this last year, you'd be against it?
.hes not, but he also gives you a legit post option. when we are going 0/27 from 3, give him the ball and let him work the post for a easy bucket
I totally agree. It would have given the Rockets another go-to guy and would have given Harden more confidence. He couldn't have been worse than Ariza.
Melo will be a Laker. You are wasting your time worrying about how he fits with Rockets. It is already done.
You're avoiding the question? Would you be against having Melo here if Mike, Daryl, Cp3 and Beard all wanted to sign him as a starter?
Something that the Thunder very rarely (if ever) tried to do with iso-Westbrook or iso-George running the show. Just the same as when we let CP run the pick and roll off to get him open from midrange, we can adjust our offense when it's time to grind out points against the likes of Draymond, Lebron, and George in the playoffs. Of course his defense will be a work in progress, but we have seen first hand what a truly defensive-minded/oriented team will do for the overall individual defense of others. He is not the Melo of Denver from 10 years ago... but even if we get NYK Melo with a little more effort on defense, I'd take that over Ryno who's scared to even take a shot.
30/30 NBA teams would trade Ariza for melo straight up. The OKC Thunder would have loved to have Ariza instead of Melo last year. Not sure where the "Carmelo Anthony is good" opinion comes from, look at his stats. He was the worst offensive player in the NBA last year with a minimum number of FG attempts. He is a horrible defender. What aspect of basketball is he good at?
I'll take my chances and side with the coach of the year, executive of the year, MVP, and Point God over your opinion. Fine if you don't agree Melo isn't a play maker. Don't know too many non playmakers that can avg 24pts in their career.
no mention of the defensive side of the floor once again from a Melo advocate the defense is what allowed us to hang with GS...it’s what allowed us to be in game 7 with no CP3, crooked refs, and 0-27 from 3 Melo is BBQ chicken defensively against the Warriors
