What free agents were there that signed with them that would have seen minutes on the Rockets? Iggy doesn't count since he used us. Seems like it's just Cousins.

Doing well in free agency would have been difficult from the jump. The Rockets best bet this offseason has always been improving via trade.

Just be patient and hope that happens. I’m thinking it will.

    Fine.

Patrick Patterson, Kyle Lowry, Goran Dragic, and Tracy McGrady also want to know why @Carl Herrera is overlooking them.

    [...But mainly Patrick Patterson...]

these are the players who have chosen to sign for vet mins to play for GS in the last two years.

Omri Casspi, Jose Calderon and David West

All three of these players could have made the Rockets rotation players.

I really don't understand how losing your 2 best small forwards and 2 of your best defenders is a good thing towards beating Golden State.

I’m not saying the team can’t add talent through free agency, but to upgrade its trade.

We have all of our picks, some young players and Gordon. Those assets. I’m not saying they are any better than the what other teams can offer, but the Rockets have pieces to trade.

Lol, those 2 hours Calderon was a Warrior was indeed interesting. He contributed so much.

The original point was why free agents are not lining up to play for the Rockets after having a great season last year. I believe the Rockets became a destination last year when we got Paul. Hence Tucker and Luc. West was maybe the only one of those I would be happy with in a limited role. I'm pretty sure Casspi was coming off an injury too and was looked at in the off season by the Rockets

Morey would have begged for Calderon to back up Paul last season.

Rockets are not always in this position. Making a move for 3rd superstar is something Morey is always trying to make. Trade deadline makes more sense this season than in seasons past to do this.

Morey is not the most predictable GM so odds of me or you being right is 50%, which is a good thing.

they watch the games just like us and see how the league wants no part of HOU advancing past GS. if the board of directors is throwing all their resources into one department, you as a company employee wouldn't be all that ambitious about getting into the department they're pulling resources out of

they both didnt play vs gsw
our offense will get a new life and will be turbocharged if morey can find a player that is competent on the offense...ariza was terrible offensive player he was suffocating our offense for years...

rockets enjoying some of their best offensive years in history yet offense was "suffocating"

I think Luc will give the Rockets first shot when it comes down to it.
