At least the oldest one that was on Westheimer for 41 years. Pretty much everyone in Houston has probably been here at some point. I recall going there frequently back in the 90's. Hell, I even met a few clutchfans up there. https://www.chron.com/business/bizf...ses-longtime-Westheimer-location-13046649.php
Yes, and we went there a lot in the 2000s. That location was originally above Birraporetti's. It moved around 10 years ago across the street to the old Laff Stop location, and closed a few years ago.
Thanks, that's the only one I every went to, 15 or so years ago. They had terrible live music, but also a terrible buffet at times, I do remember that.
That's where people went before Yelp, Google and online reviews. Before anyone knew any better. Good riddance.
80's and 90's good times close to home ..plenty of Black and Tans...loved kickin back in a wingback... and chillin in the smaller/more intimate bar.
Clear Lake closed over a year ago. When I was 21 my buddy got lucky with a 45 year old in the parking lot of Westheimer. Good times.

Wow... brings back memories. That is one of the places where I began my slide. It was easy to get into in high school. It is also the place when I first had casual sex with someone other than a teacher from across the street at St. Agnes. I was 17-18 at Sherlock’s and was with older friends when a 30 year old told me she wanted to be pounded. I did it and it started my slide into drugs, sex and criminal activity. I am lucky to have gotten out of that lifestyle. Thanks Sherlock’s!
Was talking to a friend this afternoon about this. We came to the conclusion only two of our spots are still open Wild West and Firehouse Saloon.
