I get all the questions on this move, but I say give him a chance to see what he can do for US. We will not be relying on him to come in and be a scorer. I think he will be a situational guy that comes in with his length to help get a couple of stops. He can handle the ball and get to the rim and is a active player when out there. I think a lot of this same talk was going around when we signed Luc and PJ last summer after all of the other FAs had signed elsewhere. A lot of people questioned those signings as well. So, its a minimum deal not a big issue.

If our offseason can consist of re-signing CP3, Capela, Mbah a Moute, and then adding MCW, and then trade Anderson for another piece, I would call that a solid offseason.

We'll have to see if the entire MLE is needed for Luc. If not, we could add another player.

Ah, so the signings we like are due to someone else and the signings we don't like are on the GM? So it's not just Texans fans that pull that BS, it must be a Houston thing.

Just think of him as our Joe Johnson of last season. No big deal.

Waiting for our CP3 of last season lol. We are going to a gunfight with butter knives. Better than the rest of the league, but not enough.

I'm not the biggest MCW fan but I get this move. Good, defensive point guard that can switch. Good first step will allow for penetration and pass or attack and get to the foul line. I believe MCW success will depend on the role we give him. If we use him to provide a defensive spark and to add some variety to our attack then he may pan out. We need to use him like the Warriors use Shaun Livingston. When I look at MCW that's the potential I see, Shaun Livingston. If he can turn out to be Shaun Livingston, I won't be disappointed.

Totally different. The kid is only 26 years old. Former ROY who somehow fell off quick. Maybe he just needs a new environment learning from Cp3/JH13

Demarcus Cousins is ruining the NBA. Even Rockets start to tank. :p

Well it wasn't so much that he fell off quick as it was that he was never any good and it became more and more apparent. His offense is a crime against humanity.

I am not comparing them in terms of age but expectation.

No. How about getting players that can shoot PERIOD? This scrub can't shoot all ALL. Part of losing game 7 was us missing 27 3's. MCW will actually HELP the chances of this happening again when he's out there. Are we supposed to fill the holes on the team or make them bigger?

Nobody who watched the Rockets last year said "boy, we sure need a guard who can't shoot but can guard quicker guards on this team". This isn't a primary need. The Rockets need 3&D guys who can guard more than one position. I don't know what exactly MCW is
