I’m hoping for Bebe Nogueira as backup center. Think he’s better than Noel and a great fit. Also likely a player who gets overlooked and signs for cheap on a contender.

It has to be because of the weather, couldn't be the because of the taxes.

It's really pure economics at this point. Giving him a $12-15 million per year contract saves us from an even scarier headache next year. It's a game of chicken really, and why we've been so quite thus far. Gotta wait for this domino to fall first and take care of our own before really getting going. I'm almost certain of it.

Rockets having a tough time getting people to come here probably now that LeBron is in LA and the Warriors just got Cousins....

Things just don’t look good for us.... even with Clint and Luc back.

Considering Noel is a knucklehead then yes. This year he was so- so but if Toronto could afford him they wouldn't let him go for sure.
I'm surprised he hasn't signed yet to be honest.

Since we saw that Boston almost got Cousins, maybe they are after him now.

This is such bullshit. League owners should band up and complain about this ****. They just signed the best center in the league (if healthy) in his prime for pennies.

If we offer 12- 15 only then he is gone. QO 100%.

    Rocket’s new math: re-sign CP3+lose Ariza=worse team

Morey says Rockets will have the pick of free agents, and I’m just sitting here hoping that a free agent will pick us

Nice. Very long with good feet. But has he improved his D, was known to be lazy defender and foul prone but upside is thru the roof athletically.

To be fair he didn't specify which free agents and from what basketball league

Is he restricted? For whatever reason I assumed he was unrestricted?

I imagine he would relish in the idea of a much bigger role. Toronto has ibaka, Jonas, poeltl, Siakam

as far I know he was RFA but they let him go. So he's UFA now. They prefered to sign FVV.

Still foul prone but that’s fine as a backup. A Clint lite lob threat. Defense is good enough but his stats paint a great picture.

Yeah especially after keeping vanvleet. He is restricted but I think he has a 4m cap hold. They may just cut bait?

Idk but it’s someone “I like”, while everyone is looking at the bigger names

I don't think we have the luxury to play that game though unfortunately. $18 mill a year is something I think both sides can agree on

    next?
I am not going to check but off the top of my head Bulls, Atlanta Nets, NY, LAL, LAC, Sac, Philly, Boston..probably more like Indiana. There are many expiring contracts next year.

It's more like he's struggling to get a good offer to sign
