in case you don't know, the Celtics have doubts they are able to resign him because they fear he will go to the Knicks. I don't see how the Spurs will have any more assurances.
Having a shot at keeping a guy like Kyrie is better than the certainty of keeping the scrubs from the Lakers that would otherwise be coming.
Totally I mean Phx really got the short end of that deal giving up IT, the lakers pick for brandon knight and the cavs 2016 pick
This also what should be considered, you know the Knicks are going to max Irving, pretty sure Ainge is not trilled with that, but i'd say the same about the Spurs...Irving is also not putting them into contending territory imo. But at the same time i don't see Ainge give up the goods unless he knows/thinks he can convince Kawhi to stay there.
If Phoenix helps LA create a super team again...cmon man. Now if Phoenix wants to take Ryno off our hands for us I'm all for it.
If tonight is going to be a long night, then that will have to do with Lebron's decision. I don't see where else in the league will be any movements except centered around the Kawhi trade. Kyrie is at immense flight risk. Having Kuzma, Ingram , Hart and a fist is much better don't you think? Pop is about to retire, good luck convincing Kyrie to stay.
I have a feeling that there's going to be a huge 3 team trade involving the Lakers/Spurs/Suns today. Lonzo fits what the Suns are trying to do like a glove.
