The Rockets gave up little in reality. A bunch of bench scrubs and PatBev who added up to the required salary. They got NO Quality , just quantity and none of those were of consequence to the rotation aside from Pat. The Clips still had to reach the salary floor …. 90% of the cap. So will the Cavs even if they are a good distance from that currently. Yes , Cleveland will have to take back salary aside from dealing with the few teams that have large amounts of space available but they can also get back smaller contracts / more movable parts in the process and make subsequent trades getting closer to the cap floor. Or take back parts that allow them to trade away current players and save $$ in the process of tanking. The bottom line is that Lebron controls who the players are in this process , or if there are any players at all.
The message read "I've decided to throw the rest of my career by signing with the Lakers, it'll be fun getting beat by your team early in the playoffs every year from here on out"
Guys, it is now D-day. That's decision day. We're going to 99%. Nothing has changed except time has expired. Dead calm. It's coming. He's out. He's in. He's out. He's in. But he'll ultimately opt in and be traded to Houston. 99%.
If Bron wants to be a billionaire, then the Rockets being China’s team and tapping into a market of 1.5 billion people is not to be underrated.
