if I’m the Lakers, I gotta secure the bag right now and get Leonard, especially if it seals Bron Bron to LA

then I see if PG is ready to come to his senses and drop this OKC nonsense

u go into the season with Bron, Kawhi, and PG, and build up as much depth as u can from there

I think that their goal all along is to entice Boston to give up Kyrie

SA thinks Kyrie would stay there? Yeah, he had them on their list, but that was with Kawhi on the roster, and now there’s talk that Pop won’t coach past 2020.

I don’t think Boston or Philadelphia will offer much for a Leonard rental. I don’t think Ingram or Ball or Kuzma will be stars but all are capable of improving and being good starters. The Spurs also had a very good 1st round pick. You add that all together and the Spurs have a good shot at rebuilding well.

Wouldn’t shock me or Pop sits down Lonzo in front of LaVar... looks him dead in the eyes and tells him to get his fat old man under control or he will trade him to Memphis.

I think Kyrie has already been offered due to the Celtics having no cap space and needing to match salary. I think what the spurs really want is Kyrie plus brown and maybe a pick.

The Lakers want Deng because they need the cap room. I didn’t include Randall because I am not a fan. I think Ingram, Ball, Kuzma and draft picks is a lot when Boston and Philadelphia aren’t going to over pay for a rental.

Also, there have been reports that Kyrie may walk from Boston rather than resign there.

Philly has the trainer connection though - I would bet they aren’t deterred by the rental scenario. Having said that, I don’t think they can top Ingram if LA willing to deal. It would either be Boston or LA at that point and if I’m Boston there’s no way I break up the team.

Kawhi still wants that 5 year deal. I couldn’t see him leaving the Celtics

Yep and if I am the Spurs I let him know, either help us get something of true value in return or we trade you to memphis for Conley and another player.

I know this is not a popular take around here, but if Lakers get Kawhi and Lebron, Houston will have its work cut out for them to remain in the game. You’re move DM

If Philadelphia wants to top Ingram they can offer Fultz and Saric among others.

Fultz and the Miami pick is better than anything LA could offer.

Randle was balling last season. His stats the second half of the season were up there with the best. If I’m the Spurs and I know by trading Kawhi to LA they get Lebron I’m asking for everything regardless if anyone else is bidding or not.

They will save money in a trade that includes mills or Gasol, since the Spurs are taking Lonzo, Ingram, Ball, Kuzma. Lakers would only have Mills/Gasol and Kawhi under contract and could max PG and Lebron still.

Those reports were bad aggregation done by blogs. It was reported that Kyrie turned down an extension with the Celtics which people took as him not wanting to resign there but in reality it was bc he would have missed out on alot of money if he did that.
