I just dont get the family is important line. Like he cant be with his family in houston? I dont understand. Also lebron and paul george on the lakers arent even better than houston or golden state. Every offseason starting with #StayD12 we’ve heard “Lakers feel confident they will [win every free agent and every trade].” All every player wants to do is play in Los Angeles. Plus, who’s going to turn down Hollywood and all the business benefits. And yet... I dunno, maybe it’s different now because of Magic and Pelinka and Kuzma and Ball.
The fans would literally burn down the arena if Portland traded Dame for those scrubs unless just a ton of picks including at least one in the top 5 was coming with it. None of those players is a starter on a good team, they are replacement level fodder and nothing more.
