There is still a possibility of moving Anderson, Gordon, Tucker plus picks to a team. Them moving Capela in a sign and trade,.....to then sign Lebron in july...giving him time to think..... Jordan will then come to sign a cheap deal.
According to @BimaThug the Rockets can attach 4 first round draft picks to Ryan Anderson trade as sweeteners
So 2020, 2022, 2024, 2026 first rounders to get rid of Ryan and clear room for Lebron? Yes. If I was the other team I would demand they all be unprotected first round picks
Yea a deal like this could end up worse then the nets/Celtics one. Harden might be washed by 24' and definitely by 26'.
No …. Not happening , just stop …. Capela in a trade is just beyond stupid - Either you match him or you don't period. In a trade situation , he can VETO the trade for the first year. (simple of it). He's not going to scrub team X …. And DJ is under contract …. Until he opts out of that $24m to come play for the MLE or less elsewhere.
Wait so if Lebron opts out of his contract then we won't have enough money to flat out sign him (unless paycut)?
Rockets have probably not had an eye on a Top 8 pick since Yao and Gay (Battier). 12 long years. In terms of draft, the franchise cannot be satisfied.
I think it can start with the 2019 pick, just after the draft (or after a year passed from when we traded our last 1st in the CP3 deal). I also wonder if instead of four 1st rounders we can trade only two with two swaps in the years in the middle, like the Nets did with Ainge...? @BimaThug
From what I understand you can’t trade first in consecutive years so if they already traded 2018, it will mean 2020 is when they can do it again.
You can't do that but like in the same moment/trade and if that leaves you without picks for two consecutive years, at some point you can, i just don't remember now if it's one year after the last pick got traded or after the draft.
