Stupid thread. I put the kids to sleep and finish everything i have to do to come engage and relax on Clutchfans, and then I get this kind of Bs.. Im big mad. Ban OP.
I think that starting 5 for the Lakers is not considerable anyway, they would obviously try to get a center for cheap (like Noel or Dedmon i guess) that would start for Kuzma. But anyway yeah, Rockets would obviously be better, how can that even be a question? Both Rockets stars already on the team are better than George, and that Lakers starting 5 would only have George outside of Lebron, i count one MVP caliber player and one all star, on the Rockets i count three MVP caliber players.
lol, I thought this thread would be who’s better between the Rockets with just Harden and CP3 and the Lakers with Bron and PG, but no, it’s worse...it’s about who’s better between the Rockets with Harden, CP3, and Bron plus Tucker and Capela. and the Lakers with just Bron and PG... this thread is dumb... @ashleyem have a seat and stop trolling...
Houston duh! Taking off the homer glasses, maybe Philly or LA is the better long term option. Yes, he's trying to win now (we think) but he saw that team in Miami get old real fast. Houston is going to be an old team. Not only an old team but an old team that's locked in. Chris Paul will be on a max or near max deal. Harden's mega extension will kick in not next year but year after next. Clint Capela, if they re-sign/match him, will be on a max or near max deal. Dwyane Wade was his brother in Miami. He saw him miss games(76-49-69-54), get old and ditched him for the younger, fresher legs in Cleveland. You don't think he might have those same concerns about Chris, even if they are besties? Last 4 years: 82-74-61-58. And with no draft picks, good luck getting younger. Next 1-3 years? Houston. Next 4-6 years? Maybe it's Philly or LA. (Or dare I mention San Antonio. While they are in win now like Houston and while Pop can't undo the mileage already on LeBron, he could help manage him as he gets into his mid-to-late 30s.) Spoiler Both teams will work to fill out a roster but sorta a framework... The rumor is that LeBron may convince Paul to join him in LA, perhaps with Paul George. Would LeBron want to join a team who’s best player just won MVP? LeBron would win MVPs in LA. Unlikely to happen in Houston.
Not necessarily. Unless he thinks LA has a better chance of winning the NBA Championship. Bron, Harden and Chris would have to make sacrifices, but Bron won in Miami. He can win again in Houston. Unfortunately, it's almost certainly a moot point. Lack of cap room and having fewer trade assets is going to make it difficult to acquire him.
