Greatness followed by extreme sadness. Isn't it some kind of rule that only chicks drive PT Cruisers??
It was my wife's. I had a short drive and she had to go through Austin with our very young kids...so she got the better and safer vehicle. I got to suffer for a year until I got my truck. Man was that a weird change. Going from something that could fit in the bed of a truck...to a truck. I backed into a lot of stuff the first year.

Too many to remember. I once walked away from a '73 Celica that I left on the side of the road off of Highway 59. It stopped running for some reason. Hitched a ride back home. Never looked back. My favorite car was a '65 Ford Galaxie 500. 390 4barrell with dual blown exhaust. It had an after-market under-dash AC unit that was like having a small window unit AC. You could hang meat in there when it was cranking.

And honestly, I'm not sure that I haven't forgotten one or two from along the way that maybe we didn't drive for very long.

My first car was a 2001 Mitsubishi Galant that I customized. I had subs, rims, euro lights, an aftermarket radio, and I waxed that thing like every two weeks. I actually saw it a few months ago and it still looks good. I drove that 2006-2014, the timing belt broke. I knew a mechanic so he fixed it cheap and sold it. I ended up getting $1,000 out of the sale. Then I bought a 2001 Dodge Ram. It was cool owning a truck for a while but the A/C didn't work (I live in Florida) and it did some weird sputtering thing. Drove that for about a year and sold it for around what I bought it for. Finally, I got a real job and could afford a decent car. The credit union my dad works for had a repossessed 2013 Nissan Sentra with like 20,000 miles that was in perfect condition. I've been driving that since and have rims (black on black), my same old subs, aftermarket radio and backup camera. Hopefully I can drive it until electric cars are cheaper with more range.

In 1999, I got a 1997 Pontiac Grand Prix. Drove that until 2006. Always looked great. But it was a **** car. Became an amateur mechanic because of it. A 2000 Honda Civic replaced that. Maintened it, never repaired it. Drove that until 2013 when I got a 2014 GT Mustang, manual transmission. Still have it, added an exhaust and intake, love it, but glad I got extended coverage for it a couple of years ago.
