I don't think he smilign because of that, he's smiling because he thinks the whole nba as a business is a joke. This is not a competition. It's only an entertainment.

Again, this is pure stupidity. We had the momentum. There were two BLATANT 3pt plays missed on Harden. Another 4pt play. Countless plays where GS touched the ball outta bounds & got rewarded. Moving screens not called. Eric Gordon CLOBBERED and no calls. GS wins by 7. The refs screwed our momentum & BLATANTLY handed them this game

Exactly. We can get pissed at the refs and the 3-point bricks but if we had CP3 out there, I'm sure the Rox wouldn't have been firing away like that. Chris would have settled the floor much, much more, would have covered the Worrier shooters better. Without him, the main game plan got torn out. Bombs away.

We knew it was a tall order that in the biggest game of the year, that without Chris Paul, the motor of the Rockets' success against the Worriers, the odds were not very good at all.

Games 6 and 7: It's like the Rocket Ride was great going down hill but as the ride got to Ground Zero (half-time), there was no motor to take it uphill...and it was obviously an uphill battle.

We should be satisfied knowing that with CP3, the team was complete enough to figure out the Worriers in the series. They ground ahead of the Worriers. And with a healthy Chris, they would have continued to ground the Worriers.

When he was no longer available, the Rockets had their rotation messed up, relying on role players against a stacked steam. A victory wasn't gonna happen after Game 5 against a stacked team like that.

I already accepted the outcome of the series after Paul got injured. Looking forward to the Texans and following the Astros now.

I knew the Rockets were going to be in trouble in terms of officiating when the refs failed to blow the whistle on those OBVIOUS Warrior fouls on those two Harden three-point shot attempts in the 2nd quarter. Those things were a sign of things to come. Just incredibly bad officiating. It's already hard enough to beat a videogame-esque team like the Warriors in a fair and well-officiated game. But when it's 5 on 8, it's almost impossible to win.

With that said, the Rockets missing 27 3-pt attempts in a row didn't help. Honestly, I get frustrated with the Rockets' system sometimes. If we're going to stick with this system then we MUST get some better 3-point shooters. And another wing player to drive and create open looks would help, too. Otherwise we need to tweak the system a bit...analytics be damned. Most of the Warriors' threes look like good shot attempts in the natural flow of their offense. Many of the Rockets' three pt attempts look too erratic and forced. (CP3 not being able to play contributed to this, of course.)

There's just something so aggravating about this.

We were gonna beat the Warriors, then CP3 got hurt.
We still were beating the Warriors, then the officials made sure to even the odds.
Then we still had a chance to beat the Warriors and we had the worst shooting game in history.

I though it would take so much for us to beat them, when in fact it took a whole hell of a lot for them to beat us.

Kevin Love isn’t that valuable, and their pick is meh...yeah, it’s a lotto pick, but it’s not top 5

the Cavs roster has no upside...they needed 7 games to beat Indy and Boston without Kyrie and Hayward...next year Kyrie and Hayward along with an even better Tatum and Brown will wash Cleveland

Frustrating as hell right now in the moment but they had a good season. Unfortunately it's over and will have to fight like hell again next season just to get back.

Refs really have too much of an impact on this game. Problem is there's no way around it...

This was our best chance at a ring. Losing Chris Paul will be agonizing for a long, long time.

The 12 points the refs awarded GSW in the 3rd was too much to overcome.
    • Harden’s 4pt play waived
    • Gordon gets hammered and sandwiched by Draymond and Looney(?)
    • 2 GSW 3’s creates by blatant moving screens
There probably were more but those 12 stick out in my head more than others. Completely shifted the momentum.

1sr half, Harden gets fouled twice behind the arc and no calls - even TNT said they missed those calls. Another 6 points taken off the board.

These are just the ones I rmr - 18 pts swing...

Yes they missed a crap load of 3’s but sometimes momentum is a hard thing to over come and that momentum was created by the Refs - bottom line. Rockets just started pressing once the momentum shifted.

Our window is still there just depends on what we can get this offseason and if we can unload anderson. I'm hopeful.
