Just a couple of examples of the egregious missed calls. These refs need to be investigated. This has reached Kings-Lakers 2002 level officiating.
Im done watching the NBA this season if Rockets don't win this Biggest screw job by Zebras I have seen in long, long time
They dont want Houston to win Its clear, all sports are rigged I dont know why you guys are getting heated over this. I stopped caring a long time ago after 2002 King/Lakers scandal
The records show Donaghy placed 134 calls to referee Scott Foster — more than the 126 calls Donaghy made to his bookie — between October 2006 and April 2007, the period during which he has confessed to either betting on games or passing on game information to gamblers. The majority of the phone calls lasted no more than two minutes and occurred prior to and after games Donaghy officiated and on which he admits wagering. With the exception of 150 calls Donaghy placed to Thomas Martino, to whom he says he provided “picks” to win games and who was the middleman between the disgraced referee and a bookie named James Battista, the ex-ref phoned no one more than he called Foster. During this period, the most calls Donaghy made to any other referee were 13. http://www.foxnews.com/story/2008/0...-donaghy-phone-calls-to-second-ref-raise.html
you simply can't beat 4 all-stars and the refs. rockets never had a chance in this game. it was predetermined for them to lose.
Someone has to exact a price for this. Why is it that we all knew this would happen and which ref we would get before it was even announced? Exact same pattern as the last game.
Same can be said for game 6, though game 7 was worse. As soon as the rockets got a lead, we got no whistles and they picked a bunch up.
6 free throws, a four point play and two moving screens. That's all. We've been fighting an uphill battle all night. We should be winning.
With a healthy CP3 the officiating wouldn’t have mattered. I don’t think us fans are “homers” for stating the officiating was blatantly one sided. Game 6 and esp tonight was “conspiracy level” type of officiating. Rockets and fans can’t do jack about it. We know who the better team in this series is....and it ain’t the Worriers all things equal. I’ve never complained about the officiating. But this does have some parallels to the 2002 Lakers-Kings series. Notice Rockets started to get some calls AFTER the Worriers took the momentum and the league. At that point it’s not too difficult to call the game “fairly”.
