The thing is chris paul hasnt tried to work out at all. We need him to play defense. Distributing by itself is not enough. If he is a defensive black hole because of his hammy he should sit. The only way I see him realistically playing with a strained hamstring is if they load him up on morphine and inject his hammy with an anesthetic. He'd probably be sacrificing his hamstring for the remainder of the playoffs but if we don't get past this game we don't make the finals.
I think CP3 for sure plays tomorrow. Now, it might be only for 1 minute or so if he really feels he can't contribute anything, but I think he will try to pull off an Isiah Thomas.
The Rockets have some insane record on bounce back games with CP3-Harden-Capela so he needs to play just for that reason alone.
I knew IF there is way CP3 will be playing tomorrow! He knows this is his best chance he will ever have to getting to the finals!! "Houston We Are Coming Home" CP3 still resonates!! H-Town Crazy!! Go Rockets!!
Start him. Give him a couple plays for him to get open shots early. Watch him lift the team (a la Willis) and sit him until the 4th. 5 minutes MAX in the first. Only bring him back if we need him but I'd hope the guys and our crowd could carry us the rest of the way.
Yes. The Cavs are weak as hell. They're a one man show and a mediocre defensive club. The Celtics can't win on the road. CP3 can come off the bench to spell Harden 2-3 minutes in each of the first 3 quarters. That'll keep James hovering around 40 minutes for the game which should be fine.
If we lose the season is over regardless. If he can go even in a limited capacity he absolutely should. Season is on the line.
Yes we do. We just can't trust James not to give the ball away & let guys blow past him. Also the refs swallowing theirs whistles always sucks
Not at all. Tomorrows toyota center crowd will match up to any cities crowd I guarantee you that. Have you seen how electric theyve been this whole series?
