Like, no ****. Thanks for pulling up the records. Practically half our damn losses. The main target it Harden of course. How come all of us know these three officials from a thousand miles away and know HISTORICALLY that we lose games they ref. We get all three ass clowns and what happens. It's not astrophysics, its the same corrupt NBA bullshit. The players know it too and as much as I wish the Rockets would stay mentally tough in these situations they get frustrated and it greatly affects the play. Ref like crap and they play like crap.

You can find stuff like that when you look at officials. Some officials are afraid to blow the whistle with 20,000 people screaming and yelling at them. Some officials love to have the crowd go against them. You look at Scott Foster and Tony Brothers this playoff season. The road team has covered a lot of time when they've been on the court together. So you have to look at who the officials are, and how they're matched up in the game, and what the line is, but there's definitely some situations where you can take advantage based on who the officials are.

Is it me or does it look like Brothers and Kennedy are due for a turn? Of course 25 second half points had nothing to do with the stripes. Had to do with lack of talent vs 4 all stars in their house in an elimination game.

I agree. Plus a Warriors-Celtics is a guaranteed sweep in the eyes of Silver and the NBA. They could probably see Rockets-Celtics possibly going 6.

 

I see it the opposite. If LeBron doesn't make it to the Finals, then the league will wanna ensure at least one marquee team gets there. I actually think we're better off if the Cavs win.

 

The league could totally milk a Celtics-Rockets series, if they were smart. Think of all the cool flashbacks to 1981 and 1986 finals? ... Okay, maybe that would only be cool to my demographic.

If Lebron loses to the Celtics without Kyrie-Hayward then it will be hard to imagine him staying.

Welp, most of us saw this coming.

 

Boston is a marquee team. They are a huge market with a storied history. They are Lakers East.

We're not talking about Milwaukee here.

 

The fact that this is a thread and that there are many others like it across basketball fandom should gravely concern the NBA and be a focus of the commissioner.

Nobody should care about who the refs are, yet here we are. And there is a history.
