ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Warriors 5/26/2018 (Western Conference Finals, Game 6)

Biggest issue was using harden up in so many minutes in this game

 

The scary part is that we basically saw the old Rockets w/o Paul. So there's a good chance we see it again. Turnovers.

 

We lost Paul, so the offensive drop off is expected. But us giving up 115 points is not gonna cut it. We need to tighten up the defense.

 

25 points in the second half, only 9 in the 4th quarter.

NINE POINTS in the most important quarter of the season. That's not all on the refs, folks.

At some point, the coach needs to step in and force the team to run the offense that keeps everyone involved.

 

GSW are loaded with talent and it shows. I am proud to be a Rocket fan. We will win game 7 some how.

 

GET WRECKED

 

Rockets went into game-point mode with Harden just ISO'ing and not trusting his teammates. Maybe he was just dribbling because he was tired, but it all went downhill when we went to game point mode.

 

Maybe if we picked up D.Rose instead of F'n Joe Johnson. We really need a backup PG now.

 

Common on man, you play these guys some to give them a taste of action so they won't look like scrubs.

 

His turnovers hurt sure. A few of them were garbage offensive fouls or blatant muggings and no whistles from the ref. When you’re literally the only person capable of running an offense and the defense knows it, turnovers are likely going to happen. We lost because we’re undermanned.

 

What offense is that, and on what legs?

 

Rockets had a seventeen point lead. You have to "nurse" a lead like that and there are ways to do it. They didn't. Way way too many turnovers.

 

Naw it's close.. Its very close.. He had some very dumb ones.

Rockets were successful because CP limited those TO's

This is the most TO's rockets have had in months!

The game hinged on the defense and Harden limiting TO's..

 

Home teams are 104-26 in game 7’s.

 

Who else can he trust? Luc, Ryno, and JJ would get MAULED out there.

 

Terrible rotations. This is mostly on D’Antoni. He played 6.5 guys until he waved the white flag in the 4th.

We lose game 7 if he does this.

 

Oh well they tried. Cant really play harden that long with that usage rate. Those turn overs killed us. Game 7 it is. They worked all year for that HCA might as well use it to our advantage.

 

Well it would have really made our nights had we somehow won this game. We just need cp3 back for game 7. Dantoni short rotation was a killer and the refs made it a point to get us out our game. But I just hope we can somehow some way win game 7.

 

He did but the biggest issue was Klay going off.

We just simply can't allow it. That's why we switch everything exactly so that guys like this don't go off.

If Klay goes off, we will lose, every time.

 

At the end of the day playing a 7 man rotation without CP3 is just not doable
