I think they need to attempt 50 3s and make 20 of them to win. Green, Gordon, or Luc will need to have an out of character game.
the rockets can beat the warriors at home without chris paul. i'm not saying we have great odds, but i'll take 1 in 4 odds. and that's not that bad.
It's not about odds at this point. It's about who's scared, and that's definitely not PJ THICCER and company.
All I will say is that Houston just won two games against the Warriors shooting below 40%. They are being criminally underrated.
launch a lot of 3's and hope variance is in our favor. I think it'll be hard to grind out 3 games in a row and without CP3. I think just play loose and either break the nba in 3's made or lose by 50.
Harden will need to be ultra aggressive tonight. Gordon and himself need to be attacking the rim repeatedly and hopefully getting steph in to foul trouble.
I bet they don't. They might be annoying and somewhat cocky but one thing that team doesn't lack is confidence in themselves
The opening line was 10.5...its now 12-13. As much as I'd love to see the Rox win, the chances are slim IMO. I've counted on Harden in past playoffs and I've been disappointed. Plus Iggy is back. From a betting perspective I'd stay away. Would love to eat crow tonight...my prediction is 108 - 96 Dubs.
101 - 116, Rockets win the Western Conference Championship and make their fifth trip to the NBA Finals.
Their confidence is high when they have an obvious perceive advantage. When their shots are falling and they are entering the 4th with a huge lead its hard to beat them. But in a close game with everything is on the line somehow rockets executes better. Draymond green talked big but hes the one who fumbled the ball in those last plays. Kerr couldnt even remember his play clearly where quinn end up shooting the ball instead of their best player. Feels like their confidence is dwindling. But we'll see.
Quinn did exactly was he was supposed to do. It's a broken possession. He had all day to shoot a wide open 3 bc everyone else stayed home and for good reason when cp3 couldn't make it pass a few steps on the other side of the court. Hou was extremely fortunate that it didn't go in. If anything that shows how much confidence they do have bc he took the shot like he's supposed to instead of panicking
