For the first time my entire family watched the game together. My kids were shocked when KD got these bs calls on Ariza and Harden getting fouled by a wild donkey on a no call drive.
Some post game comments from Paul's dad on the injury if it hasn't already been posted: http://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/...s-lose-chris-paul-postseason-hamstring-injury
Looks like we'll know by early afternoon whether Paul is making the trip or staying behind in Houston, as Rockets team charter appears scheduled for a 1:43 pm departure from Hobby this afternoon: https://flightaware.com/live/flight/PMM758/history/20180525/1830Z/KHOU/KOAK Of course, suppose he could also fly out solo later if MRI/testing hasn't concluded by then.
Not only that, but why would we rest a bunch of guys for Game 6? Have you seen the Rockets in this series after long layoffs? Every win they've got in the WCF has come after only one day off between games. While both losses have been by double figures and came after several days of rest.
With or without Chris Paul game six is a precious opportunity to knock out the champ. We worked so hard to get this opportunity we are not going to give it up.
You can say it but in the clutch of the 4th quarter, all I see was CP3 and Eric Gordon in the last games. I dun see much of Ariza, Tucker or I see the 0-11 3pt shooting from your main dude. If it come to just 2 guys scoring, it will be very hard on the road.
Who cares? We are not supposed to be up 3-2 either. It was supposed to be "too hard" against the mighty warriors, and here we are. If CP can't play, so be it. We play and live with the results. I dunno if we will win but there's one thing I am certain of which is our guys aren't quitters. We are still going to fight till the end no matter what happens.
We're up 3-2, not 3-0. I think you play everybody in Game 6 and treat it like a must win. This is no time to rest players, this is the time to lay it all on the line and go for the throat. I want no part of a Game 7. We've won in Oracle twice this season. It's a tough place to play but it's not exactly Boston Garden circa 1986. And we've played great on the road all season, including the playoffs. Of course if things get out of hand in the 3rd quarter, bench everyone. But until that happens.....GO ALL IN.
Well, you predicted Worriers in 6 while I was leaning toward 7 Game series. You might have joked around but anyone can deduct from my prediction that this was a fought out series, a tough series.
It's quite funny how the pessimists and "fans" throughout the year are now buying into the belief that the Rockets can win this series.
I know this isn’t rational but I’m kinda pissed at harden about this. If he had played like an all star (not even MVP), Paul wouldn’t have had to take every damn shot while obviously exhausted.
